Our Story
Behind the gates of our imaginary Hamptons Estate is a very real home among the gum trees in Sydney, Australia.
I share it with my husband, our three adult children - forever dropping in or moving out - our dog Ziggy and resident turtle Franklin. Life is rarely without a little personality. Zig has appointed herself supervisor of the 3D printers and is working like a dog, while Franklin, true to form, is regularly on a go-slow.
I began my own dollhouse project hoping to create something light-hearted, beautiful and memorable - a little world that was light, bright and coastal, with just a touch of luxury. Along the way, I discovered something rather lovely about escaping into the miniature world for a while. When life feels a little heavy, somehow the little things have a way of lightening the load.
More than anything, I wanted to create something that makes your heart squeal - that tiny moment of delight when you find the perfect piece or watch a little room come to life. Something future generations might one day look into and be inspired to dream big.
When I couldn’t find the pieces I had imagined, I began searching further afield, discovering talented miniature designers from around the world. Slowly, one little dollhouse grew into a carefully curated collection of beautiful pieces that we now manufacture and finish here in Sydney.
One of the loveliest parts of this journey has been meeting collectors from around the world and discovering just how many of us share this rather wonderful love of little things.
And perhaps that is part of the magic of miniatures. A dollhouse gives us the freedom to create without limits - to recreate a cherished memory, imagine a coastal retreat or design the dream home we might otherwise only ever picture.
